About Us
Mission: Our goal is to bring "green" into mainstream fashion. Every year more and more designers are getting on board, however, actual shops you can walk into off the street are very very limited. While green is beginning to be a choice in some of the larger retailers, we are focusing on True Green Integrity and will maintain an "exclusivity" to green. One shouldn't have to deal with "buyer beware issues" when buying green. The products we will offer will be from vendors signing a contract verifying their authenticity. Our hangtags will tell you how the product you love is green. We are also concerned about social responsibility. Our vendors are also verifying their products are either made in the USA or guaranteed Fair Trade/Sweat Shop Free.

In addition to the exclusively green merchandise. Chrysalis intends to be a role model for green business practice. This begins with our location where the developers have built to LEED standards on a portion of the buildings. Several trees were saved and transplanted in the central park area. The boutique itself is finished out with low VOC paints, green floor coverings, energy efficient systems wherever we can possibly manage. Our store supplies include recycled paper products for wrapping/packaging, reusable shopping bags, etc. We've searched out green printers for marketing materials and business cards. Fixtures are recycled or re-purposed as much as possible. We are always open to new ideas from our customers and artisan inquiries for representation in the store.
